Reminder for Incoming 1st Year Students

We shared the medical requirements last month to give everyone enough time to prepare ahead of enrollment. We're resharing the details now to keep everyone informed and help avoid delays.

Important Reminders:

If you're missing some medical requirements, you may request a promissory note—but only if you have at least two (2) medical results or certificates.

We cannot issue a promissory note if ALL medical requirements are missing.

For pending drug test results, please submit a copy of the official receipt showing that your test is already scheduled or you're waiting for results.

❗️FILARIASIS — ISA PANG SAKIT NA DALA NG LAMOK NGAYONG TAG-ULAN ❗️

💡 Bukod sa Aedes aegypti na nagdadala ng dengue, mabilis ding dumadami sa panahon ng tag-ulan ang mga lamok gaya ng Aedes spp., Anopheles spp., at Mansonia spp. na nagdadala ng Filariasis.

Ang lymphatic filariasis ay sakit na dulot ng mga microscopic na bulate na naipapasa mula sa kagat ng lamok. Kapag napabayaan, maaari itong magdulot ng kapansanan dahil sa permanenteng pamamaga ng iba’t ibang bahagi ng katawan.

Mga paraan para maiwasan ang Filariasis:

✅Gawin ang taob, taktak, tuyo, takip sa mga lalagyan para walang pamahayan ang lamok;

✅Magsuot ng pantalon at damit na may long sleeves; at

✅Gumamit ng mosquito repellent pag lalabas, at ng kulambo sa pagtulog

📍 Sa tulong ng mass drug administration, nakakamit ng mga probinsya ang Filariasis-free status.

Isang donasyon ng dugo ay maaaring magligtas ng hanggang tatlong buhay—mga pasyenteng nangangailangan ng transfusion, mga buntis, at mga may karamdaman gaya ng dengue, anemia, at cancer.
