INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NATIONWIDE SEARCH AND DESTROY MOSOUITO BREEDING SITES KICK-OFF ACTIVITY
In compliance with Department Memorandum No. 167, the Department of Health (DOH) is launching the Nationwide Search & Destroy Mosquito Breeding Sites Kick-off for Dengue Prevention and Control, under the theme "Alas Kwatro Kontra Mosquito."
All Government offices and employees are enjoined to participate in the simultaneous search and destroy activity on February 24, 2025, at exactly 4:00 in the afternoon. With the unpredictable rainy weather, the risk of mosquito breeding sites has significantly increased, posing a serious threat to public health. While the number of dengue cases in the region remains low, we must remain proactive in our efforts to eliminate potential breeding grounds. This initiative is a crucial step in strengthening regional measures to control dengue and reduce the prevalence of mosquito-borne diseases.
