Happening earlier at barangay Sta. Cruz, San Benito, Surigao del Norte. Conduct of Gender Sensitivity Orientation to Barangay Officials, Mothers' club, PAGAMAS and LATO members.
"We strive to build a more inclusive and respectful barangay", this Gender Sensitivity Orientation aims to open minds and hearts to the importance of equality, respect, and understanding among all genders. Through awareness, education, and shared dialogue, we break down stereotypes, challenge discrimination, and promote a culture of acceptance. Together, let us create a community where everyone — regardless of gender, identity, or orientation — feels valued, protected, and empowered.

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development (MSWD) Office, in coordination with the Municipal Treasury Office, is currently facilitating the 2nd quarter payout of financial assistance to indigent senior citizens of San Benito, with each beneficiary receiving ₱3,000 intended to meet their basic needs such as food and medicines.

This activity is part of the national government’s fund transfer mechanism to Local Government Units (LGUs), aimed at ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of social pension to qualified beneficiaries.
