The City Health Office in collaboration with Department of Education, and Loveyourself PH, an NGO, conducted a three day peer-to-peer training composed of Senior High School students from different public and private schools last December 10-12, 2025, at Danels Restaurant, Brgy. Tandoc, this city. The initiative is led by the City Health Officer, Dr. Susan L. Benitez, and HIV Program Director, Dr. Natasha Mae L. Benitez. The event was a success through the support of the City Mayor, Hon. Julier C. Resuello, City Vice Mayor, Hon. Joseres S. Resuello, and the entire Sangguniang Panlungsod.

The said event brought young leaders together to learn, share, and stand up for facts, compassion, and inclusivity. Through open conversations and peer-driven learning, we continue to break stigma and build a community that is informed, empowered, and proudly supportive.

Together, we turn awareness into action.

CITY HEALTH OFFICE IN ACTION!

As Bagyong Uwan continues to affect our city, the City Health Office medical teams are on-site across various evacuation centers, ensuring that every San Carlenian receives proper medical attention and support.

Meanwhile, standby teams are stationed at the CHO Main Office ready for rapid response and additional support whenever needed.

Headed by Dr. Rodeline B. Lomibao, Officer-in-Charge, our dedicated health workers continue to serve with compassion and commitment, rain or shine.
