The Department of Health – Ilocos Center for Health Development, through the Health Emergency Management Unit (HEMU), conducted a Technical Visit on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health (DRRM-H) for continuous DRRM-H Institutionalization monitoring, evaluation, and mentoring at the City Health Office, San Carlos City, last August 19, 2025. The activity highlighted the city’s commitment to strengthening health emergency preparedness and response, with the support of the DRRM-H Nurse Coordinator, Ms. Krystal Marie V. Doria.

This initiative aims to strengthen the city’s health emergency preparedness and response through capacity building, risk reduction strategies, and enhanced health systems.

The City Health Office in coordination with DOH-CHD I is in Barangay Calobaoan for our TB Caravan and Dental Mission, bringing healthcare services closer to you!

Aside from offering free consultations and treatments, we also conduct lectures and health education on Tuberculosis and HIV, as awareness is the first step towards prevention.

Special Thanks to our City Mayor, Hon. Julier C. Resuello, and City Vice Mayor, Hon. Joseres S. Resuello, for their unending support to all our healthcare programs.

Isang malaking pasasalamat sa lahat ng lumahok sa Simultaneous CLEAN-UP DRIVE 2025. Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Mayor Julier "Ayoy" C. Resuello, katuwang ang City Health Office at Liga ng mga Barangay, matagumpay nating naisakatuparan ang isang malawakang clean-up drive sa buong lungsod.

Ang inyong mga pagsisikap ay tunay na kahanga-hanga! Salamat sa bawat residente ng bawat barangay na nagbigay ng kanilang oras at lakas. Ang inyong dedikasyon at malasakit sa ating komunidad ay hindi matatawaran. Sa bawat basura na ating tinanggal, nag-aambag tayo sa isang mas malinis at mas ligtas na San Carlos, at sa pagkilos na ito, nagbigay tayo ng proteksyon laban sa dengue.

Huwag tayong huminto dito! Ang ating sama-samang laban ay patunay ng ating pagkakaisa at malasakit. Patuloy tayong magtulungan upang labanan ang dengue at panatilihing ligtas ang ating mga pamilya. Sama-sama tayong magtulungan para sa mas maliwanag at mas malinis na kinabukasan.
