Kasunod ng pinaigting na surveillance dahil sa deklarasyon ng World Health Organization sa mpox (dating monkeypox) bilang isang Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC), nakapagtala ang DOH ng isang bagong kaso ng mpox sa Pilipinas. Bago ito, ang huling kaso ay naiulat noong Disyembre 2023. Ang lahat ng mga naunang kaso ay na-isolate, naagapan, at gumaling na sa sakit.

Mula sa Kagawaran ng Kalusugan (DOH), Local Govt of Pangasinan at ng PPH Public Health, protektahan ang sarili at ang ang buong pamilya laban sa sakit at maling impormasyon. Maging handa sa banta ng mpox - sundin at tignan ang ilang Health Reminders sa mga larawan.

Our Family Planning coordinator sir Franz Louie De Vera participated in the recently conducted event in celebration of Family Planning month at the Municipality of Mangaldan. The successful insertion and removal of implant was initiated by RHU-Mangaldan.

Our District Nurse Supervisor attended the recently conducted FHSIS Data Reconciliation and Validation in La Union. The said activity was participated by the PHO program coordinators, DNS from PPH, WPDH and LDH and Public Health Nurses.It was conducted by the Regional FHSIS program managers.

One of our activities which started in the month of July is the conduct of Nutrition in Emergencies Training for Barangay Nutrition Scholars and others in the different LGUs under PPH ILHZ. Our own nutritionist, ma'am Marina Penoliar has been serving actively as resource speaker in the said trainings.
