A Heartbreaking devastating news from Natures Healing Home

Dear family, Friends and Supporters,

I write to you today with a heavy heart.

A devastating typhoon has struck San Fernando City, La Union, and our beloved healing sanctuary, Nature’s Retreat House, has suffered deeply. My home, the retreat cottages, the dining area, and nearly 75% of the surrounding land—including our fruit trees, garden beds, and farm infrastructure—have all been severely damaged.

This land has been my sacred space of healing and renewal, and I’ve poured my heart into creating a refuge for others to come and heal. To see it in this state is heartbreaking. What once stood as a peaceful mountain-top oasis, overlooking the ocean, is now a scene of destruction.

Despite this tragedy, I know that healing begins in the heart. I’m grateful to be safe,, my family that resides in the community and I know that with the same love and spirit that built this place, we will rise again. But I cannot do it alone.
