The Outpatient and Aftercare Division successfully held its 15th Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) Moving Up Ceremony and Aftercare Program (ACP) Graduation Rites on June 27, 2025, at Lotus Blu Hotel, Naga City. The theme, “Reclaiming Lives, Restoring Hope: A New Chapter in Recovery,” encapsulates the essence of every client’s journey toward healing, reintegration, and renewed purpose.
A total of 57 clients were honored for reaching major milestones in their recovery: 22 Aftercare Program graduates, 22 IOP completers, and 13 who completed both IOP and ACP. These individuals represent stories of courage, transformation, and commitment to positive change. Their progress reflects not only the strength of their personal resolve but also the impact of sustained therapeutic intervention and community support.
Moreover, the ceremony was graced by stakeholders from various government and non-government agencies whose support has been instrumental in the continued success of our recovery programs. Their presence affirmed the collective effort required in building a compassionate and sustainable recovery-oriented system of care.
We were especially honored to have Atty. Maria Leonor G. Robredo as our Guest Speaker and Hon. Gilda Gayle Abonal-Gomez as our Special Guest. Their heartfelt messages strongly resonated with this year’s theme. They spoke about the vital role of community support, compassion, and second chances in helping individuals reclaim control over their lives. Moreover, they emphasized that true success in recovery is not measured by numbers alone, but by the depth, sincerity, and quality of each person’s transformation. Their insights reinforced the idea that reclaiming lives involves restoring one’s sense of self and purpose, while restoring hope is about believing that every individual has the capacity to begin again, no matter their past.
The ceremony stood as a powerful reminder that recovery is a continuous journey; one that requires compassion, support, and commitment. It highlighted the shared responsibility of families, service providers, and the community in creating an environment where lives can be reclaimed, hope can be restored, and new chapters can begin.
