We are proud to share that our esteemed Training Officer and the current President of the Academy of Head and Neck Oncology of the Philippines, Dr. Paulyn M. Gaddi, was invited as a resource speaker by the Central Luzon Center for Health Development in line with the celebration of Head and Neck Consciousness Week.

The online session, held via Zoom on April 14, 2025, focused on raising awareness and sharing essential health tips related to head and neck conditions.

We would like to congratulate Dr. Gaddi for representing our institution and for her commitment to head and neck health education.

In celebration of Head and Neck Cancer Awareness and Consciousness Week (April 20–26, 2025), our department held a lay forum at the ENT OPD Clinic, aimed at educating the public and promoting early detection and prevention of head and neck malignancies. The forum highlighted risk factors, warning signs, and the importance of early consultation and diagnosis.

Our department also joined the “Takbo Para sa Buhay” virtual fun run organized by the Academy of Head and Neck Oncology of the Philippines (AHNOP). Our dedicated consultants and residents proudly completed 3 km and 5 km runs, showing strong support for cancer advocacy and wellness.

Awareness is the first step to prevention. Together, we fight cancer.

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery successfully conducted a Blepharoplasty and Rhinoplasty Mission on April 28, 2025, in collaboration with the Section of Facial Plastic Surgery, led by Dr. Galen Clark Perez and Dr. Gerard Joseph Hizon. The event highlighted the department’s ongoing commitment to excellence in both reconstructive and aesthetic care.

We also extend our sincere gratitude to our Minor OR nurses for their vital support in ensuring the mission’s smooth and efficient flow.
