WASMI SPOTLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

The Wallace Air Station Medical Infirmary (WASMI) completed another successful week, focusing on health protection, mission readiness, and community collaboration. Our personnel actively worked to safeguard the base, conducting a Dengue Mitigation and Sanitary Inspection and enhancing base safety by holding a Radiation Safety Seminar for 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing, PAF personnel.

We strengthened our medical capabilities by participating in Epidemic-Prone Disease Surveillance Training and took a significant step toward improving healthcare accessibility by submitting the accreditation requirements for the Konsulta Package Provider application. Furthermore, we successfully facilitated PFT Clearance for the 548th Engineer Construction Battalion.

This week also highlighted strong inter-agency partnerships through our coordination with the DOH for permit to construct and our successful engagement, including a courtesy call, with City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office regarding vital training materials.

As we look ahead, we have begun preparations and coordination meetings for the upcoming 9th Founding Anniversary of WASMI - DENTAL. WASMI remains dedicated to providing comprehensive medical and safety services for our personnel and the broader community.
