1. Qualifications:
a. Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition or related fields
b. Professional Regulations Commission Board Passer
c. One year of job experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory
d. Must be familiar with and knowledgeable about medical terminology, hospital guidelines, policies, and procedures.

2. Required Skills
a. Must be knowledgeable on nutrition principles, dietary guidelines, and clinical dietary protocols for weight management, and special and specific medical conditions
b. Excellent communication skills
c. Computer literate
d. Able to counsel and motivate patients/clients to educate and follow prescribed dietary advice
e. Ability to analyze and interpret medical records, laboratory results, and other diagnostic data to provide the proper dietary counseling
f. Ability to adapt in any circumstances in the performance of duties
g. Must be able to collaborate with the different units of the institution
h. Has the motivation for continuous improvement in knowledge and skills by attending relevant educational activities and accessing new research materials.
