Ang Diabetic Retinopathy ay isang komplikasyon ng diabetes na nakakaapekto sa mga mata, partikular sa retina, kung saan ang maliliit na ugat ay nasisira dahil sa mataas na antas ng asukal sa dugo. Maaari itong humantong sa malabong paningin, pagdurugo sa mata, o kahit pagkabulag kung hindi maagapan. Maagang pagtuklas at pagsusuri ay susi upang maiwasan ang permanenteng pagkawala ng paningin.

HOW TO TREAT EYE STRAIN AT HOME

✅ Take regular breaks to rest your eyes and blink as often as possible while using computers and other digital screen devices.
✅ Use artificial tears to prevent eye dryness.
✅ Adjust your screen brightness and contrast to match the level of ambient light.
✅ Use a matte screen filter to reduce glare.
✅ Sit about at arm's length from the screen, and position the screen so your eye gazes slightly downward, not straight ahead or up.
