Cervical Cancer Awareness Day 2025 ๐Ÿ’œ

Cervical cancer is a preventable disease caused mainly by persistent infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV). Early detection through regular screening and vaccination can save lives.

To raise awareness and promote womenโ€™s health, the Philippine Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Inc., in partnership with Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Medical Center, held a special seminar and activity for women on May 29, 2025, at Brgy, Saguin Health Center .

Preeclampsia is a serious pregnancy complication that causes high blood pressure and liver or kidney problems, typically occurring after the 20th week of pregnancy.
