TO MY PATIENTS:

Good day!

As we all know, there have been a lot of changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic. One of the major changes have been in our healthcare system. I have stopped seeing patients in our clinics for fear of spreading the virus, acquiring the virus, or both. Although the situation is far from over, there is a need for us to adjust and make necessary modifications so we can once more serve our patients.

This will be the new normal in the face of Covid-19:

1. Reduced number of clinic hours
2. Limited consultation slots per day
3. By appointment only (Walk-in patients will NOT be entertained)
4. No mask, no entry policy
5. Only the patient is allowed inside the clinic (no companion unless patient is a minor or incapacitated)
6. Those with symptoms of cough, colds, fever and diarrhea will NOT be entertained at the clinic and will be advised to seek consultation online.
7. Emergency cases will be referred to the nearest hospital for further evaluation and management.

In line with this, I will be resuming my clinic on a limited capacity soon. I will be seeing less patients at the clinic and will instead be shifting to online video or teleconsultation to accommodate more patients. This will help ensure the safety of our patients, clinic staff and the general public.
