The session shed light on proper handling, storage, and transfusion practices—aimed at ensuring quality, safety, and care in every drop of blood shared. ❤️

ITRMC–NVBSP joins the nation in celebrating the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) this September 2025, in commemoration of the establishment of the Philippine Civil Service by virtue of Public Law No. 5 (An Act for the Establishment and Maintenance of an Efficient and Honest Civil Service in the Philippine Islands) on 19 September 1900.

Pursuant to this, Presidential Proclamation No. 1050 series of 1997 declares the month of September as Civil Service Month.

As this year marks a milestone celebration—the 125th PCSA—with the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan”, the spotlight is on the invaluable contributions of the country’s public sector workforce in realizing the aspirations of a Bagong Pilipinas through patriotism, excellence, and integrity in the delivery of public service.

In line with this, CSC Regional Office I spearheaded a Bloodletting Activity yesterday, September 9, 2025, dubbed “Dugtong Buhay, Handog ng Lingkod Bayan.”

This noble initiative encouraged all physically fit government employees from Region I to donate blood—an act that truly embodies “Mula sa puso ng lingkod bayan, para sa bayan.”

IN PHOTOS | THE 585TH AIR BASE GROUP CONDUCTED PRE-ANNIVERSARY BLOODLETTING ACTIVITY IN CONNECTION WITH ITS 9TH FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
On 29 August, 2025, 585th Air Base Group Air Installation and Base Development Command held a successful bloodletting activity in celebration of its 9th Founding Anniversary at the Wallace Air Station, Multi purpose hall. With this year's theme "585TH ABG @9: Advancing with Focused Operational Commitment and Unity in Service — Rooted in Malasakit sa Sarili at Organisasyon", This event was a powerful demonstration of the Group's commitment to community health and well-being.
This activity was held in partnership with National Voluntary Blood Services Program - ITRMC and in collaboration with the 580th Aircraft Control and Warning Wing, PAF in celebration of their upcoming 75th Founding Anniversary. Captured in these photos are inspiring moments that reflect the dedication and hard work of both participants and organizers. Through this meaningful initiative, the 585th Air Base Group has once again demonstrated its invaluable contribution to local healthcare services and its continued support for vital health programs in the community.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the following stakeholders and participants who honored us with their presence during this meaningful activity: the NVBSP-ITRMC; Coast Guard District North Western Luzon; Northern Luzon Naval Command, Philippine Navy; Police Regional Office 1; La Union Police Provincial Office; Fraternal Order of Eagles; City Mayor's Office, San Fernando, La Union; Air Materiel Wing Savings & Loan Association, Inc.; 21st Air Force Group Reserve and Love Radio La Union.
