IN PHOTOS | The Ilocos Training and Regional Medical Center – Nursing Service Division, in collaboration with the Lung Care Team and the Northwest Luzon Chapter, proudly hosted a Virtual Home Healthcare Lecture in celebration of World Asthma Day 2025.
Held on May 9, 2025, the online event featured Dr. Deion Jovencio O. Pada III, MD, FPCP, DPCCP, a respected Pulmonologist at ITRMC, as the distinguished resource speaker. Dr. Pada delivered an insightful and informative lecture entitled “Make Inhaled Treatments Accessible to All,” which focused on expanding access to effective asthma care.
During the session, Dr. Pada discussed various risk factors associated with asthma and provided a comprehensive overview of the proper use of different types of inhalers. His practical approach and expert knowledge helped attendees better understand asthma management, especially within home healthcare settings.
The lecture was well-received, attracting over 300 live participants from various healthcare institutions and communities. The strong turnout reflects the growing commitment to raising awareness about respiratory health and the importance of making treatment more accessible—especially in underserved areas.
