A tuberculum sella meningioma can cause progressive blindness due to compression of the optic nerves. Recommended treatment is usually surgery but INCORRECT removal can also result in VISUAL LOSS.

Intraoperative photos before and after removal showing meticulous preservation of the optic apparatus as well as the other suprasellar structures resulting in improvement of the patient’s vision.
