An old man was once asked what life lessons he would wish to share with the young. With a gentle smile, he answered:
"Help them understand that love cannot be demanded or forced; it must be freely given. Remind them that their worth isnโt measured by what they own, but by who they are at their core. Teach them that comparing themselves to others is a path to discontent, and that true richness is not about possessing more, but needing less.
Show them that a moment of carelessness can wound the heart of someone who loves them, and healing those wounds may take years. Let them know that while there are those who love them deeply, they may not always find the words or means to express it.
Make them see that money can buy many things, but it cannot purchase happiness. And that two people can gaze upon the same scene yet perceive it in entirely different ways.
Let them learn that a true friend is one who sees all our imperfections and still loves us unwaveringly. For, in the end, people may forget what you said or did, but they will never forget the way you made them feel."
