Mahalagang Paalala:
Sa mga araw at oras na sarado ang ABTC, ang Emergency Department (ED) na nasa Frontline Building ay bukas 24 oras upang bigyan ng agarang lunas ang mga Category III Rabies Exposures.

Temporary schedule of JBLMGH ABTC for this week.

On days when the Animal Bite Treatment Center (ABTC) is closed, the Emergency Department will remain open to manage all Category III animal bite cases, in compliance with Department of Health (DOH) guidelines and to ensure continuous access to timely post‑exposure management for all patients with Category III exposures.

In celebration of Rabies Awareness Month, the Public Health Unit and Animal Bite Treatment Center, in partnership with the Pampanga Provincial Veterinary Office and JASMC Sto. Tomas will conduct the following activities for all eligible pre-registered Pets and Pet Owners:

🐾 Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination and Deworming for Pets
💉 Human Rabies Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) for Pet Owners
🐱 Free Neuter for Male Cats (Limited slots – first 30 qualified registrants)

In celebration of National Heart Month, Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital – Public Health Unit, in collaboration with Disaster Risk Reduction and Management in Health, in cooperation with the DepEd Schools Division Office – City of San Fernando, Pampanga, successfully conducted a Hands-Only CPR Workshop on February 26, 2026 at Baliti Integrated School.

This whole-day activity aimed to equip participants with life-saving knowledge and skills on proper Hands-Only CPR, empowering them to respond confidently during cardiac emergencies. Through lectures, demonstrations, and return demonstrations, students and participants learned that immediate action can greatly increase a person’s chance of survival.

We are proud to share that over 100 students and faculty members were certified as Hands-Only CPR–Trained Personnel, strengthening the school’s capacity to respond effectively during emergencies.

Together with our dedicated facilitators and partners, we continue to promote heart health awareness and strengthen community preparedness — because every second counts, and every heartbeat matters.
