R.A.B.I.E.S. Mentoring Exchange
Rabies Advocacy and Benchmarks for Isolation, Education, and Systems Development
Tomorrow, August 20, 2025, key members of the Rabies Management Committee of JBLMGH, together with the Animal Bite Treatment Center and Public Health Unit Team, will be leading a virtual mentoring session for hospitals designated in Central Luzon to establish their own Human Rabies Isolation Rooms: Bulacan Medical Center, Aurora Memorial Hospital, Talavera General Hospital, Tarlac Provincial Hospital, and San Marcelino District Hospital.
This full-day program will cover Infection Prevention and Control, Palliative Care, Administrative Policies and Procedures, and real-world experiences in establishing and managing Human Rabies Isolation Rooms.
We thank our invited participants from these hospitals and program coordinators from all over the region for joining us, and acknowledge the strong support of the Department of Health – Central Luzon Center for Health Development (CL-CHD) in making this mentoring exchange possible.
Together, we strengthen rabies prevention and improve patient care across Central Luzon and beyond.
