The Department of Health - Health Facility Development Bureau (DOH-HFDB) invite stakeholders from clinical laboratories, blood service facilities, medical societies, allied health professional organizations, and other relevant bodies to participate in the public consultation on National External Quality Assessment Scheme (NEQAS) fees.
In accordance with DOH Order 2020-0820, National Reference Laboratories (NRLs) administer the NEQAS which aims to assess the quality of clinical and public health laboratories in collaboration with the DOH-Health Facilities and Services Regulatory Bureau (DOH-HFSRB). Compliance with NEQAS is mandated under various regulations, thus, participation and satisfactory performance are required for renewing the license to operate (LOT) through the DOH-HFSRB and regional offices.
