💧Hydration is key.
Hydration helps the kidneys — but with care.
For most people, drinking enough water supports kidney health, especially when taking meds that pass through the kidneys.

🫀 Patients with kidney impairment or heart conditions.
Hydration must be monitored and adjusted according to renal function and overall fluid status.

💊 Stick to prescribed doses.
More is not better. Taking higher-than-advised doses of NSAIDs or antibiotics is a common cause of kidney strain.

⚠️ Avoid long-term self-medication.
Especially for PAIN — if it’s chronic, it’s time for a proper consult.

🩺 Know your kidney health
People with diabetes or hypertension should have regular kidney function checks (serum creatinine, eGFR)

🌿 Ask before adding supplements.
Some “natural” products also stress the kidneys, especially in combination with maintenance meds.
