07.16.2025 | We are deeply honored to share that San Joaquin Mother and Child Hospital (SJMCH) has been recognized as the BEST PERFORMING INFIRMARY in Western Visayas by the Department of Health (DOH) Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (RLED) during its Consultative Meeting and Cascading of Policies to Various Health Facility Stakeholders (Infirmary) in Western Visayas! We give all glory and thanks to God for this incredible and unexpected blessing!

Join us again in our 3rd quarter Mobile Blood Donation, tomorrow, from 7:30 to 12 noon only at hospital lobby. This noble work is in coordination with Philippine Red Cross - Iloilo Chapter.

To mark our 15 years anniversary, weโ€™re giving back in the most heartfelt way: through a 3-day Community Pantry to all patients, clients, and personnel built on love, solidarity, and the spirit of bayanihan.

The 3-day Community Pantry started last April 22, 2025 in celebration of hospital's 15 years Anniversary. The activity comes also with gift giving and "ukay-ukay" that every client enjoyed.

This charitable activity was made possible through the generous effort of the hospital staff.

This isnโ€™t just a celebration โ€” itโ€™s a reminder of our mission and our purpose in life. That at the core of everything we do is people helping people. โค๏ธ

We're growing! ๐ŸŽ‰We are pleased to announce that San Joaquin Mother and Child Hospital has been granted approval by the Department of Health - Region 6 Regulation, Licensing and Enforcement Division (DOH WV CHD RLED) for an increase in our authorized bed capacity from 10 to 25 beds, effective March 14, 2025. This milestone is a testament to our dedication to providing exceptional healthcare. Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this journey!

The Medical Social Work Division celebrated the World Social Work Day with the theme โ€œStrengthening Intergenerational Solidarity for Enduring Wellbeingโ€. The Division initiated the event through a gift-giving to all admitted patients. This activity aimed to simply show love and thoughtfulness. Furthermore, in the healthcare setting, social workers demonstrate the essential qualities of empathy, respect, warmth, and authenticity to strengthen their clientsโ€™ well-being and intergenerational support systems.
