Mapagpalang araw San Joseños! Nais pong ipabatid ng tanggapan ng Panlungsod na Beterinaryo na patuloy na tumataas ang bilang ng mga hayop lalo na sa mga a*o na tinatamaan ng sakit na Rabis. Sa kasalukuyan ay mayroon ng (9) na kumpirmadong namatay sa sakit na ito at Alinsunod sa datos, ang mga pagala-galang a*o sa lansangan ang sanhi ng pagdami ng mga biktima ng sakit na ito.

Paano makakaiwas sa sakit na Rabis?

1. Iparehistro at pabakunahan taon-taon ang ating mga alagang a*o at pusa para sa sakit na Rabis.
2. Bigyan ng sapat na nutrisyon at kalinga ang ating mga alaga.
3. Huwag hayaang pagala-gala sa kalsada ang ating mga alaga, lagyan ng tali ang mga alagang a*o kung ipapasyal sa pampublikong lugar.
4. Kung makagat ng a*o o pusa ay hugasan agad ang sugat ng 10-15 minuto sa damadaloy na tubig habang sinasabon at agad magpakonsulta sa pinaka malapit na health center o Ospital. (Iwasang pumunta sa Tandok/Tawak)
5. Ipagbigay alam agad sa aming tanggapan kung may makitang pagala-galang agresibong a*o o pusa sa paligid.
