As part of our commitment to to protect the RIDGE TO REEF PROGRAM , On or about 0630h 16 August 2025 this Squadron together with CRG CGDSTL Cgss San Juan LGU San Juan Menro San Juan Batangas and our very supportive partner the BROTHER PHILIPPINES planted 1200 mangrove propagules at Brgy Poctol San Juan Batangas . Mangrove plays significant role on our ecosystem like the our forest it serves as the lungs of the earth and it protects the community near the shores and riverbanks that is why we must plant trees for the future generations.

On or about 0700h 07August 2025 this squadron participated the Pista ng Kagubatan (ARBOR DAY) A TREE PLANTING ACTIVITY at San Juan , Batangas a total of 85 various trees(drum sized) were planted at the mountainous part of the Brgy Quipot and Sapangan
the said activity is an annual tree planting activity of LGU San Juan headed by the MENRO where in stakeholders planted trees for the future generation.

On or about 0700h 06 August 2025 this squadron assisted and participated the RCSP activity at Brgy Sampaloc 2 Sariaya Quezon with Coast Guard Station Southern Quezon and CGDSTL DENTAL SERVICE a total of 40 community members had thier tooth extraction and cleaning, 512thCGAS CGADSTL provided dental supplies on the said activity.

As part of MARSAF ACTIVITY ,This squadron together with Aboitiz Land and Aboitiz Foundation conducts a 10 days lifeguard qualification training (June 01-10 2025) Forty (40) participants from different resorts with in our AOR join the said rigid training to make sure that their employed lifeguards will have the proper knowledge and skills in lifesaving and ensures the safety of tourist and beach goers. Instructors from Coast Guard District STL facilitated the said activity. To ensure the safety on the duration of the training a standby medical team from the CG Medical Service were deployed and they conducted lectures regarding Basic LIfe Support Training

On or about 1330h 27May2025 a Green Lateral Bouy was properly turn over to PPA Lucena this was coordinated to them last March 12 2025 thru Mr Kevin Largdo,the said bouye was found by a fisherman caretaker of Mr Ronelo Malabanan who relayed to this squadron and immediately there after our DAS AUX CDR ANDRES LUISTRO JR PCGA call Mr Largado . Lateral bouy had a significant use in safe navigation of ships approaching the port.
It is a navigational aids that mark the edges of a channel, indicating the port (left) and starboard (right) sides when entering or leaving a waterway. They use a system of colors, lights, and numbers to guide boaters. Green buoys mark the port side, while red buoys mark the starboard side.
