Day 2 | Oral Examination and Fluoride Varnish Application

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Marie Jane Soria and Dr. Nancy Azul who generously shared their time and expertise in conducting oral examinations and fluoride application for our SNED learners. Thank you for your invaluable service and commitment to our community. We truly appreciate your support in making this program a success.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the school, parents, and our dear SNED learners for their full support and participation in this oral health program.

To the DepEd San Marcelino District Supervisor, Dr. Romeo Fastidio; San Marcelino Elementary School headed by Dr. Virginia Fulgueras; SNED Teachers and learning Facilitators; thank you for your warm accommodation and strong partnership in promoting the well-being of your learners. Your support made this activity possible and meaningful.

Happy World Oral Health Day!

Day 1
The Dental Services of the San Marcelino Municipal Health Center rendered Oral Health Awareness Talk, Proper Tooth Brushing Demonstration and the Launching of “My Happy Tooth Book.”

This special book was carefully created to help our learners understand the importance of taking care of their oral health in a simple, engaging and learner-friendly way. It contains colourful illustrations, fun activities, and easy guides that will help our children learn proper toothbrushing, healthy food choices and the importance of visiting the dentist.

The Dental Services would like to extend our gratitude to SBM Eng'r. Darrel L. Labio, for generously sponsoring the production of “My Happy Tooth Book” of our 63 SNED Learners. Your kindness and support have made this project possible.

Thank you also to our Provincial Dentist, Dr. Herminio Cawagas (Dhnad Zambales), for gracing our program and for your support of our mission of having beautiful smiles, especially to Marcelinian children.

Thank you to Dr. Fastidio, Dr. Fulgueras, SNED Teachers, Learning Facilitators, RHU Staffs - Dental Team, and of course our dear learners and their parents.

Let us all work together in promoting healthy smiles, confident learners and brighter future. May this initiative continue to inspire our children to value their oral health and develop habits that will help them grow strong and happy!

ORAL HEALTH PROGRAM for SNED LEARNERS🦷

San Marcelino Elementary School

The activity aims to promote proper oral hygiene practices, provide dental health education, and conduct preventive services among SNED learners.

This program is part of our continuing effort to support the overall health and well-being of children with special needs by ensuring they receive appropriate oral health care and guidance focusing on providing inclusive, accessible, and learner-friendly oral health education.
