My Journey as an Arist ❤️
I have always felt that there is something missing. I don't feel a sense of fulfillment in anything I do. It started when I graduated as a Computer Science student back in 2009. 2011, I worked as a Quality Assurance personnel for 2 years when our company gave us an opportunity to acquire new set of skills with free training - some were for Photography, some were for Hosting, and what I became interested in, were Make-Ups. I don't really put makeup on my face but i love arts and colors. That is how my journey started as a Make-Up Artist for Beauty and Glamour. I did my best and studied well so I can have formal education and proper knowledge about Make-Ups, so at one point, when I finally decide to pursue it, I can make a career out of it. 2015, it was December when I decided to resign from work and focus in the Make-Up industry. It reminded me of how I was when I was a kid, I was actually somebody who was into arts, colors, designs, and the like where I also excel at school- not knowing that in the future, I'll actually develop a liking into a certain niche - Make-Ups. It made me realize that God, in His perfect time, will really put you where you are good at and supposed to be. Things have fallen into place, indeed. I have been in the Make-Up industry for roughly 7 years now and to say I love what I am doing, is an understatement. I am passionate about what I do. I love enhancing my clients' beauty, and I love how I make them feel good about themselves. I have finally gotten the sense of fulfillment I was looking for - and I can only be thankful that I am being used as an instrument by God for people to appreciate their beauty. 2019, I have decided to study Semi-Permanent Make-Up with my mentor Din Park in Brow Matters Academy. My mentor, whom I am so grateful for, has always been so patient with me, and was a supportive teacher overall. I couldn't be more thankful for all the support that was provided to me. I then have an opportunity and joined Asiatic Beauty Skill Competition and has then gotten my first Excellence Award in Bali, Indonesia. It only has strengthened my belief that God does not only give us talents for the sake of having them - it is all for us to discover, enjoy and nourish. The Glam Brow Studio, this is where I am going to flourish as a Permanent Make-Up Artist, my once life-long dream will now become a reality, thanks to my supporting and loving family, Nanay Alice, tatay Boy, Kuya Anjo, Adette, Adrian and Cris. Thank you also To my relatives and close friends who are always there for me when I need help. To my Labs, my lifetime partner - Joe for always believing in me and for helping me to reach my dreams in life. Lastly, thank you so much to the One up there who never gave up on me and for loving me unconditionally. I will definitely use it to the best of my ability, to be of honor and service to my clients, in hopes to be of praise to Him through all these, under His grace.
