‼️DOH: HIV ang mas malaking problema sa Pilipinas kaysa MPox‼️

Iminumungkahi ng DOH na gawing National Public Health Emergency ang HIV dahil sa pagsirit ng kaso nito sa bansa na tumaas nga 500%. Pumalo sa 57 ang bilang ng kumpirmadong kaso ng HIV kada araw mula Enero hanggang Marso ngayong taon.

Pilipinas ang may pinakamataas na bilang ng bagong kaso ng HIV sa Western Pacific Region.

Payo ng DOH:
📌Magpa-HIV test. Ito ay libre at confidential

📌Gawin ang Combination Prevention Method—-gumamit ng condom, lubricants, at PrEP

📌 Ugaliin ang pag konsulta at pag-inom ng Antiretroviral therapy para sa mga kailangan nito.

Department of Health (DOH) Secretary Ted Herbosa has urged President Marcos to declare a national public health emergency over Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), warning that the Philippines now records the highest increase in new HIV cases in the world.

Ang gonorrhea ay isang s*xually transmitted infection (STI) na dulot ng bacteriang Neisseria gonorrhoeae. Naipapasa ito sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtalik (vaginal, a**l, o oral) sa isang taong may impeksyon. Maaari rin itong maipasa mula sa buntis na ina patungo sa kanyang sanggol sa oras ng panganganak.

Sintomas ng Gonorrhea
Maraming tao, lalo na ang kababaihan, ay walang sintomas, pero kapag meron, ito ay maaaring:

Sa mga lalaki:
-Masakit na pag-ihi
-Madilaw o maputing discharge mula sa ari
-Pamumula o pamamaga sa dulo ng ari
-Pananakit o pamamaga ng bayag

Sa mga babae:
-Masakit o mahapding pag-ihi
-Pagtaas ng discharge mula sa puwerta
-Pagdurugo kahit hindi regla
-Pananakit sa ibabang bahagi ng tiyan

Sa ibang bahagi ng katawan (hal., lalamunan o puwit):
Sore throat (kapag oral s*x)

Re**al pain, discharge, o bleeding (kapag a**l s*x)

Kailan Dapat Magpatingin sa Doktor?
Dapat magpatingin kaagad sa doktor kung:

-May sintomas ka na nabanggit sa itaas
-Nakipagtalik ka sa taong may STI o hinihinalang may STI
-Isa kang s*xually active na indibidwal at hindi gumagamit ng proteksyon
-Isa kang babae na may multiple partners (inirerekomendang regular na STI screening)
-Nag-positive ka sa ibang STI (dahil mas mataas ang posibilidad na meron kang iba pa)

Bakit Mahalaga ang Maagang Pagsusuri at Paggamot?
Maaaring magdulot ng infertility, pelvic inflammatory disease, o epididymitis kapag hindi nagamot.

Maaari rin itong makahawa sa iba kahit walang sintomas.

Nagagamot ito ng antibiotics, pero may mga kaso ng resistant gonorrhea kaya mahalaga ang tamang gamutan.

Kung may alinman sa mga nabanggit o may agam-agam ka, huwag mag-atubiling kumonsulta sa doktor o sa pinakamalapit na health center. Maaaring magpasuri nang confidential at libre sa ilang public health clinics o social hygiene clinics.
