We're thrilled to share the success of our participation in the "P.I.N.K. - PCs - Inner Wheel Nagkakaisa sa PagSugpo sa Kanser" event held last October 1, 2025!

The Black Nazarene Hospital, Inc. and Rotary Club of Health Keepers was proud to join this important initiative at the Pedro Almazan Centennial Hall in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte. Together, we contributed to increasing breast cancer awareness and, most importantly, provided vital breast screenings to 178 beneficiaries! 🩷

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this event a resounding success. Your support helps us make a tangible difference in our community. Let's continue to champion early detection and prevention!

Last October 4, 2025, at Brgy. 18, Magnuang, Batac City, Ilocos Norte, The Black Nazarene Hospital, Inc and Rotary Club of Health Keepers, and In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Kona Sunrise, has brought essential services to 70 families in need.

We focused on key areas that helped our community thrive
Disease Prevention and Treatment: Fighting hunger and promoting well-being.
Water and Sanitation: Distributing pails to improve hygiene.
Community Education: Holding lectures on peace and order, basic education and literacy, and maternal and child health.
Environmental Care: Cleaning up the barangay playground to create a safe space for children.

Together, we can make a difference! See you there as we continue our mission to serve!

🙏 Feast of San Lucas 2025 | Service in Action 🙏
In celebration of the Feast of San Lucas, The Black Nazarene Hospital, Inc. and The Rotary Club of Health Keepers joined hands with the community of Brgy. 9, San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte to bring meaningful service and joy to the residents.

✨ Highlights of the day included:
👩‍⚕️ Medical Mission – providing healthcare services to the community
🍲 Feeding Program – nourishing bodies and spirits
📖🎨 Storytelling & Coloring Activities – sparking joy and creativity among the kids
📢 Awareness Campaign – spreading information on the dangers of alcohol and drugs through posters
🌱 Tree Planting and waste segregation – promoting environmental care and sustainability

This celebration was made more impactful through the strong collaboration with Interact Club of San Nicolas National High School, Brgy. 9, San Nicolas Officials, Ilocos Norte Medical Society, Municipal Health Unit of San Nicolas, Rescue Ninja and Provincial Health Office - Ilocos Norte
Together, we not only honored our patron saint but also embodied the spirit of Service Above Self, caring for the health, future, and environment of our community.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2025 Activity – SUCCESSFULLY HELD!

The Black Nazarene Hospital, Inc., through the Health Education and Promotion Unit (HEPU), successfully conducted its Breast Cancer Awareness Month activity on October 1, 2025.

The event featured:
✅ Free Breast Screening & Consultation led by Dr. Mary Jane Noble and Dr. Jonathan G. Noble, with the support of our dedicated TBNHI staff.
✅ Lay Fora Lecture conducted by the Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS) and an Open Forum on early detection, prevention, and awareness—empowering participants with valuable knowledge.
✅ Simultaneous Landmark Lighting to honor breast cancer survivors, patients, and advocates, symbolizing hope and unity.

We sincerely thank our partners, doctors, staff, local officials, and all participants for their active involvement and support in making this event a success. Special thanks to Hon. Mayor Ed Mar Vincent L. Bonoan for allowing us to hold the event at Pedro Almazan Centennial Hall and for designating the Old Plaza as our Landmark for Lighting, as well as to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) led by Mr. Edgar Tolentino, and the RC Health Keepers for their valuable contribution.

Together, we continue to raise awareness and emphasize the importance of early detection and community support in the fight against breast cancer. 💖
