Important message to the public:

Nowadays, on a.m. radio and the internet, there is always somebody trying to
sell products being passed off as having medicinal effects. Its big business here in our country. The unscrupulous are raking in millions, leveraging on people's ignorance.

Here are some Common Sense tips that you dont have to be a doctor or Rocket Scientist to understand:

1. If the claim is "This product cures a lot of diseases" It is BOGUS. If you believe it, you are gullible. No real 21st century medicine has that power.
2. "I took this and I got well..".. is the same as "Flying Elephants exist. I saw them with my own eyes."
3. If it says "No Approved Therapeutic Claims", its not MEDICINE. It cant cure anything. Its a waste of money if what you need is for a cure for your ailment.
4. The practice of Medicine does not rely on testimonies of any Tom, Dick and Harry on the street. It relies on Evidence Based Medicine and Clinical Research of REAL SCIENTISTS.
5. If the claim sounds too good to be true, it is.
6. Sadly, there are doctors who will break the Hippocratic Oath to make a quick buck. A Cabbage wont heal arthritis..neither will essential oils..No, not in a million years.
7. When a seller sells you "Healing Oil", it means the seller thinks you are too stupid to believe that anything you put on your skin will have a direct benefit on your internal organs.
8. The cure for CANCER has yet to be found..The same is true with the
common cold. Anyone claiming otherwise is either stupid or a scammer...or both.
9. Naturopathy is not Evidence Based Medicine. Those who practice it are
not recognized as medical doctors. Mang Kepweng and the neighborhood
Hilot/Arbulario/Quack doctor belong in the same category. In fact, it is unlawful to practice Naturopathy in the philippines as you can be charged with violation of the phillipine medical act of 1959 and if conivted will carry a long prison sentence.
10. There is such a thing as a Placebo Effect. Just because you placed a crystal on your head and your headache disappeared doesnt mean Crystals can cure headaches.
11. If you are not a Medical Doctor, do not recommend any kind of medicine nor treatment to other people. You can actually kill them with wrong information.
