MetroHealth Family Clinic is a health care service provider and a DOH-accredited secondary laboratory. On July 2012, the clinic was established by a group of Family Medicine practitioners who aims to provide quality and educational yet affordable health care services to every family within the community. It was first located at 427-A Arnaiz Ave., Pasay City as an out-patient clinic. In 2013, the c
linic was improved into an Immunization Center and an Animal Bite Clinic. The Immunization Center catered both pediatric and adult members of the family, hence the promotion of disease prevention within the community. The guidelines set by the Philippine Foundation for Vaccination is being practiced. As an Animal Bite Clinic, both the doctors and nurses are equipped with proper knowledge and training. Due to the increasing number of patients and the growing demand for other medical services, MetroHealth Family Clinic was then transferred to a larger place at F.B. Harrison St., Pasay City on July 2014. At this time, the clinic was upgraded to a DOH-accredited diagnostic clinic. At present, the clinic still continues to provide affordable, quality and educational healthcare for family members. It now accommodates local Pre-Employment Medical Examinations and laboratory requests from nearby clinics. It is also accredited by HMO’s such as Valucare, Generali Pilipinas, Cocolife, Intellicare, Avega and Philcare being able to extend its services to health card holders and their dependents. At MetroHealthFamily Clinic, patients are not only treated for their illness but are also educated about their condition because the doctors believe that a well-informed patient is easy to treat and is the best partner in achieving wellness, within the family, and in the community.
