⚠️ A Caution About High Velocity Spine Decompression
High Velocity Spine Decompression is a technique where a very fast and forceful pull or thrust is applied to the spine to relieve pressure or improve movement. While it may sound helpful, this kind of treatment can be dangerous—especially when done in the neck area.
■ Why It’s Risky:
• It can damage important arteries in the neck.
• It may cause serious complications such as stroke, paralysis, or even death in rare but real cases.
• It puts a lot of stress on spinal structures in a very short amount of time.
■ Please Be Careful:
• This technique should not be done by anyone who is not medically licensed and highly trained.
• It is not recommended for most patients, especially those with underlying health issues or spinal conditions.
• There are much safer alternatives—such as gentle manual therapy, gradual cervical traction, or physical therapy—that can provide relief without the same risks.
■ Our Advice:
If someone offers to "pull" your neck quickly, especially outside of a licensed clinic or hospital, it’s best to say NO and seek help from a qualified healthcare provider.
Your safety comes first. Don’t take chances with your spine.
