THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION POLYTECHNIC FIRST AIDER MEMBERS SANTA MARIA IS RAISING AWARENESS ON THE PREVENTION AND PROPER MANAGEMENT OF DENGUE, A SERIOUS YET PREVENTABLE HEALTH CONCERN IN OUR COMMUNITY.

‎ Through continuous education, we aim to inform everyone about the causes, warning signs, and symptoms of dengue. We also promote preventive measures such as eliminating stagnant water, maintaining proper sanitation, and practicing good hygiene to reduce mosquito breeding.

‎As First Aiders, we emphasize the importance of early detection, basic first aid response, and timely medical consultation to prevent complications. With collective action and shared responsibility, we can protect our school community and families. Together, let us stay informed, vigilant, and proactive in the fight against dengue.

By knowing the importance of wearing mask, when and how to use properly and how to dispose of them correctly, we can protect ourselves and those around us. 😷

The Immaculate Conception Polytechnic First Aider Members, Santa Maria would like to formally give an advisory regarding the rise of the "Super Flu", a more virulent form of the Influenza A (H3N2) virus that has been distinguished specifically to have a certain subclade K. Being the First Aiders at our institution, it is our concern that the campus should be alarmed to immediately have their cases checked to avoid any risks of having a flu.

The PASKUHAN 2025 celebration has come to an end, and it was truly a joyful and memorable event for everyone.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to all the hardworking PASKUHAN 2025 Medic Team Committee who did their best to look after everyone’s safety and needs throughout the program. Your dedication and effort are greatly appreciated.

We also extend our gratitude to the Guyong Rescuers, MDRRMO Rescuers, and to those who lent a hand in Medic team , who provided excellent care and support during the event.
