In celebration of National Children’s Month 2025, the 𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, through the 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 (𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗢), will conduct an Awareness and Fun Day for Children with Disabilities on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, at the 𝐁𝐮𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧, 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐠𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲. 💖💖💖

Anchored on this year’s theme, “𝙊𝙎𝘼𝙀𝘾-𝘾𝙎𝘼𝙀𝙈 𝙒𝘼𝙆𝘼𝙎𝘼𝙉: 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙄𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙣”, this activity aims to promote inclusion, raise awareness on child protection, and celebrate the strength, talents, and potential of children with disabilities. 🌈💫

Who Can Join:
• Children with disabilities aged 0–12 years old with an updated PWD ID
• Priority will be given to those who have not yet received any assistance or joined previous PDAO activities/programs
• For Santiago City residents only
• Limited to 200 slots

This morning, two of our teen students went on a field trip to Black Scoop Café. 🧋

With guidance from their therapists, they planned the trip, rode a tricycle, and placed their own orders—putting into action the skills they’ve been practicing in their individual sessions. This experience also helped deepen their bond and growing friendship. 👬

✅ Social Thinking Conference 2025

Our speech pathologist and clinical director Ellyn Namoro and occupational therapists Ruth Soto and Roxan Soto attended the 2-day workshop regarding the Social Thinking Methodology held at F1 Hotel BGC on May 23-24, 2025. ✨

The Social Thinking Methodology "provides evidence-based strategies to help people ages four throughout adulthood develop their social competencies, flexible thinking, and social problem solving to meet their own social goals and improve conversation & social connection, executive functioning, friendship & relationship development, perspective taking, and self-regulation."
