In line with its commitment to continuous professional development and service excellence, the Allied Health Professional Service (AHPS) successfully conducted its Capacity and Leadership Building Activity on December 10โ€“11, 2025, at Villa Alca, Patul Road, Santiago City. The two-day activity gathered two batches of allied health professionals from four major departments: Pharmacy Department, Health Information Management Department, Medical Social Work Department, and Nutrition and Dietetics Department who actively engaged in a series of interactive learning sessions and team-building activities.

The activity aimed to strengthen leadership and management competencies, enhance communication and interpersonal skills, and promote teamwork and collaboration across allied health disciplines. It also sought to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, build professional confidence and resilience, and reaffirm the essential role of allied health professionals in delivering quality, ethical, and patient-centered care. Through shared learning and meaningful engagement, the activity underscored the importance of unity, accountability, and excellence in service.

Participants took part in dynamic lectures, experiential workshops, group discussions, and reflective exercises designed to encourage self-awareness, leadership growth, and stronger interdepartmental relationships. The activity further served as a platform for aligning individual roles with the broader mission and vision of the institution, fostering a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility within the AHPS.

The Allied Health Professional Service extends its sincere appreciation to the Young Professional Club of Santiago for serving as the learning service provider and facilitators, whose expertise and engaging approach greatly contributed to the success of the activity. Special thanks are also given to Antipara Films, the official documentation team, for professionally capturing the highlights and meaningful moments of the event.

This successful initiative highlights the AHPSโ€™s unwavering dedication to empowering its people, strengthening leadership, and advancing excellence in allied health servicesโ€”because Together, we power AHPS.
