Southern Isabela Medical Center received Bronze Award dor Exemplary Health Services for Tertiary Hospitals, during the recently concluded Gawad Kalusugan 2024 with the theme, “Pagtutulungan ng Lokal na Pamahalaan Tungo sa Makabagong Serbisyong Pangkalusugan, Universal Healthcare para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan: Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Bawat Buhay Mahalaga,” last December 6, 2024 at Tuguegaro City Cagayan.
The event organized by Cagayan Valley Center for Health Development celebrated the outstanding contributions of local government units (LGUs) and health facilities in Region 2 in advancing quality healthcare.
Present in the event were the Undersecretary of Health - Public Health Services Cluster, Dr. Glenn Mathew G. Baggao, Director IV, Amelita Pangilinan and Mar Wynn Bello, Medical Center Chiefs of SIMC, R2TMC, and CVMC, Local Chief Executives, Public and Private Health Facility Representatives, and Health Workers coming all over from Region 2.
