Hospital employees immersed themselves in HealthQuest: The 2-Day Wellness Adventure on July 24โ€“25, 2025, as part of SFCMCโ€™s 27th Anniversary celebration. Booths were set up across the hospital, offering interactive learning and fun challenges on various aspects of health.

Staff who completed all booths were eligible for the raffle draw held on the last day, while the most voted booth won the Best Booth Award with a cash prize. This initiative fostered engagement, camaraderie, and a stronger culture of health in the workplace.

In line with our 27th Anniversary celebration, SFCMC launched its weekly Institutional Exercise: "Tuesday Shoes-Day โ€“ Walk It Like You Mean It!" beginning July 22, 2025. Held every Tuesday at 7:30 AM at the hospital lobby, this five-minute guided routine promotes fitness, positivity, and teamwork among employees.

Led by our Rehabilitation Medicine team, the initiative encourages staff to wear rubber shoes and stay active throughout the day. The activity will continue until January 2026, keeping our momentum strong in prioritizing staff wellness.

Interventional Cardiologist Dr. Maria Grethel Lardizabal led the โ€œAtake sa Pusoโ€ Lay Forum last July 17, 2025 at the LPU-SC Auditorium. Her talk focused on heart attack symptoms, prevention tips, and what to do during a cardiac emergency.

Participants gained practical knowledge that could one day save a life. The forum was part of our continuous advocacy to raise awareness on cardiovascular health in the community.

Six teams composed of SFCMC staff put their nutrition knowledge to the test in the Nutri-Talino Quiz Contest held on July 15, 2025, at the LPU-SC Auditorium. The activity energized the kick-off of our 27th Anniversary celebration with the theme โ€œSerbisyong Maaasahan, Kalusugang Inaalagaan.โ€
