𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | In light of the weather advisory issued by PAGASA and the potential risks posed by Tropical Depression Basyang, Southern Leyte State University, through the OP Memorandum Order No. 31, s. 2026, will conduct all classes asynchronously across all campuses from February 5 to 7, 2026.

This measure is intended to ensure the safety of the university community and minimize unnecessary travel. Faculty members are advised to deliver learning materials and activities through online platforms or other accessible digital means.

The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs will further issue a subsequent advisory for the resumption of face-to-face classes, subject to prevailing weather conditions and official advisories.

All concerned are encouraged to monitor official SLSU communication channels for updates and to prioritize safety at all times.
