- Laban kontra malnutrisyon, obesity, at lifestyle diseases
- Pundasyon ng mas malusog na pamilya at komunidad
- Hakbang tungo sa mas masiglang bayan!

It's FRIYAY and it's FOOD FUN FACT DAY!

Tomatoes are a powerhouse of nutrition! Packed with lycopene, an antioxidant that may help reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer, they're also rich in vitamins C and K, potassium, and folate. While technically a fruit, we often enjoy them as a veggie. Tomatoes come in a rainbow of colors and various shapes, sizes, and flavors.

Research suggests that tomatoes and tomato products may help reduce the risk of certain cancers, including prostate, lung, stomach, and breast cancer. The antioxidant lycopene and other carotenoids in tomatoes are thought to play a role in these potential benefits.

Carotenoids are powerful antioxidants that:
- Support healthy immune function
- Reduce inflammation
- Protect skin and eye health
- Help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals

Tomatoes are rich in carotenoids like lycopene and beta-carotene, making them a great addition to a healthy diet.
