Preserving the Breast, Preserving Hope 💗
A young patient presented with a breast mass clinically and radiologically suspicious for malignancy. She underwent Breast Conservation Surgery (BCS) with Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy (SLNB) — a proven approach that removes the tumor while saving as much normal breast tissue as possible.

Indications for BCS include:
✅ Tumor-to-breast size ratio allows complete excision with acceptable cosmetic result
✅ Single tumor or multiple tumors in the same quadrant
✅ No contraindication to radiotherapy
✅ Patient preference after informed discussion

BCS should be offered to all suitable patients with confirmed or possible breast cancer, giving them a safe, effective, and confidence-restoring option.

💬 There is hope in preserving the breast for breast cancers.
