We are happy to announce the transfer and official ribbon-cutting ceremony of the Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department of Metro Health Specialists Hospital, today, October 13, 2025.

Our unit has moved to a bigger and better location at the Ground Floor of the Wellness Center Building. This move is all about enhancing patient experience. The new space is specifically designed to provide a more comfortable and expansive environment for healing.

Duly licensed by the DOH, this physical therapy and rehab unit provides the latest in therapeutic care with state-of-the-art machines, including the Piezowave Shockwave machine, Super Inductive System (SIS), Therapeutic Ultrasound, Spinal Traction and Decompression table.

Our commitment remains—to help every patient meet their therapeutic and rehab goals with the best possible care.

The Sorsogon Medical Society, in partnership with Metro Health Specialists Hospital, has successfully conducted a post-graduate course on legal wellness at The Melad Hotel, Cabid-an, Sorsogon City, on October 11, 2025.

The course, titled “Beyond the Diagnosis: Understanding Your Legal Rights and Responsibilities as a Doctor,” brought together members of the medical society and legal professionals, who benefited from the insights and expertise of Atty. Antonio Alejandro D. Rebosa, MD—a respected medico-legal luminary—on pressing issues and legal challenges facing today’s medical practitioners.

This accredited program earned 1.5 Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units each from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Philippine Medical Association (PMA).

The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to Rite Med for sponsoring the event, and to all participants whose presence contributed to its success.
