The heat wave continues to intensify. Today, May 10, several provinces have officially entered the "Danger" category, where heat exhaustion is likely and heatstroke is an imminent threat with prolonged exposure.

• Dagupan City, Pangasinan
• Cavite City
• Cuyo, Palawan
43°C:
• Cagayan, Ilocos Norte & Ilocos Sur
• Nueva Ecija, Olongapo City & Tarlac
• Occidental Mindoro, Puerto Princesa City, Iloilo, and Eastern Samar.
41°C - 42°C:
• Metro Manila, Negros Occidental, Batangas, Quezon Province, Capiz, Isabela, Aurora, and Zambales.

• URGENT HYDRATION: Drink water even if you aren't thirsty. Avoid caffeine and alcohol as they speed up dehydration.
• STAY INDOORS: Remain in the shade or air-conditioning, especially during the peak hours of 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• DRESS SMART: Wear light-colored, loose-fitting, and breathable clothing to help your body stay cool.
• RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS: Watch for dizziness, nausea, rapid pulse, or a high body temperature without sweating. These are red flags for heat exhaustion or stroke.
