Sultan Kudarat, December 9, 2025 - Coland Systems Technology, Inc. proudly celebrated the culmination of its three-week Work Immersion Program for seventy Grade 12 STEM students during a meaningful ceremony held on December 9, 2025, at the OPD Auditorium of Cotabato Sanitarium and General Hospital. The activity marked an important academic milestone, showcasing the studentsβ dedication, the schoolβs commitment to hands-on learning, and the strong partnership with Cotabato Sanitarium and General Hospital as a training institution. Over the course of 118 total duty hours, the students completed a comprehensive immersion experience that strengthened their technical knowledge, workplace discipline, and appreciation for healthcare service.
Throughout the immersion, the students were assigned to various units of the hospital, allowing them to gain meaningful exposure in areas such as EngineeringβEMU/MET, Pharmacy, Radiology, Laboratory, Nursing Service Areas, ER Triage, Emergency Room, Outpatient Consultation Areas, Outpatient Department Triage, Oncology, OCN, PACD, HDU, TB DOTS, HACT, Ambulatory Service Unit (ASU), and the Medical Records Section (MRS). Their placements provided them with a deeper understanding of hospital operations, patient care processes, and the essential role of each department within the healthcare system.
The ceremony commenced with warm and motivating opening remarks from Akhrima U. Nones, RN, MAN, Assistant Chief Nurse for Training. In her message, she emphasized the values of discipline, professionalism, and compassionβqualities that the students strengthened throughout their immersion. She reminded them that firsthand exposure to a real healthcare environment would serve as a vital foundation as they pursue future academic and career paths.
An inspirational message from Bai Sittie Abrala L. Mamadra-Abdula, RN, MAN, Chief Nurse, was delivered on her behalf by Ariel Canumay, RN, MAN. The message encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations with integrity, perseverance, and courage, underscoring that true achievement is rooted in strong character and the willingness to embrace challenges and growth opportunities.
Adding vibrance to the program were the intermission performances by the immersion students, which showcased their creativity, talent, and unity. These presentations highlighted the camaraderie that developed throughout the training period and added enjoyment and color to the celebration.
A major highlight of the event was the Awarding of Completion Certificates to all seventy students who successfully accomplished their 118-hour immersion program. Certificates were presented by Aurino J. Muesco, School Principal; Sarah Jean R. Saac, LPT, Work Immersion Coordinator; Akhrima U. Nones, RN, MAN, Assistant Chief Nurse β Training; and a representative from the Engineering and Maintenance Unit. Each certificate symbolized perseverance, growth, and readiness for the next stage of their academic journey.
A heartfelt Words of Thanks was delivered by Abdul Hashiem E. Lingga, who spoke on behalf of his fellow immersion students. He expressed deep gratitude to the school administration, hospital mentors, training supervisors, and partner departments for their guidance and support throughout the program. He also extended special thanks to the top management of Cotabato Sanitarium and General Hospital, led by Dr. Ibrahim V. Pangato, Jr., MAHA, CESE, Medical Center Chief I, for their unwavering support and for providing the venue and resources that made the immersion experience possible.
A special portion of the ceremony was devoted to the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the heads of the hospital units where the students were assigned, recognizing their mentorship, patience, and vital role in making the immersion meaningful and enriching.
The event formally concluded with the closing remarks of School Principal Aurino J. Muesco, who commended the students for completing their 118-hour training with dedication and professionalism. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence and to carry forward the knowledge, values, and experiences gained throughout their immersion.
The celebration wrapped up with a photo opportunity, capturing smiles, camaraderie, and the shared pride of seventy young individuals who completed their transformative three-week immersion. These photos will serve as lasting reminders of a journey marked by growth, learning, and accomplishment.
