2 NEW CONFIRMED MPOX CASES IN KIAMBA, SARANGANI PROVINCE

The Sarangani Provincial Health Office, in coordination with the Department of Health – Center for Health Development SOCCSKSARGEN, confirms two (2) new cases of Mpox Clade II in the Municipality of Kiamba, Sarangani Province. These two (2) new cases are on top of the three (3) previously confirmed cases in the Municipality of Alabel reported on June 12, 2025.

✅ All patients are under close medical monitoring.
✅ Contact tracing and community surveillance efforts are actively being implemented.
✅ Those experiencing symptoms are advised to immediately report to their Barangay Health Workers, RHUs, or Municipal Epidemiology and Surveillance Units (MESUs) for proper guidance and support.
