In celebration of National Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Day, the SOCCSKSARGEN General Hospital proudly participated in the nationwide advocacy spearheaded by the SGH - Health Emergency and Disaster Management Unit - HEDMU.

Proclaimed as an annual observance every July 17, National CPR Day aims to raise awareness and equip Filipinos with the life-saving skills needed to respond to cardiac emergencies.

This year, a total of 100 Lay Rescuers - divided into Batch 1 and Batch 2 with 50 participants each were trained in CPR. Among the trainees were patient watchers, hospital security guards, and local tricycle drivers - ordinary citizens now empowered to become extraordinary lifesavers.

Be the difference. Be a lifesaver.
