Health Education and Promotion is a program of Provincial Health Office of Surigao Del Norte where it promotes seven strategic behavioral areas to create health-seeking individuals, health-enabling settings, and health-supporting governance. Tudluan ta samtang sajo pa. Ang kahibawo sa mga kabataan mag sugod sa panimalay. Ato gjud i train atong mga kabataan sa pagpananom ug mga ug mga utanon ug mga prutas para naa kitay magamit mga presko, luwas sa kemikal nga pagkaon.

🌿 Lumabas sa 2024 Health Promotion Longitudinal Study na karamihan sa mga Pilipino ay mas gustong kunin sa sariling bakuran ang kanilang pagkain sa pamamagitan ng pagtatanim ng mga gulay 🥬 at pag-aalaga ng mga hayop 🐔 bilang parte ng kanilang pang araw-araw na hain.

Narito ang ilang paraan na isinusulong ng DOH para masimulan ang sariling bakuran 🏡.

The Department of Health-CHD Caraga reminds the general public on WHAT TO DO AFTER AN EARTHQUAKE in light of the recent tremors and the ongoing aftershocks being experienced:

-Stay Calm

-Check yourself for any injuries and seek medical help

-After you have taken care of yourself, help injured or trapped persons near the affected area.

-Inspect your home for damage. Examine walls, floor, doors, staircases, and windows to make sure that the building is not in danger of collapsing.

-Check for gas leaks, electrical system damage, and water line damage.

-Watch for loose plaster, drywall, and ceilings that could fall.
Use battery-powered flashlights to inspect your home. Kerosene lanterns, torches, candles, and matches may tip over or ignite flammables inside.

-Get everyone out if your home is unsafe.

-Listen to the radio or television for updated emergency information and instructions. Keep yourself informed about the latest updates on earthquakes and aftershocks through reliable sources such as PHIVOLCS-DOST and disaster management agencies. Refrain from spreading fake news that can lead to unnecessary panic and confusion.

-Stay out of damaged buildings. If you are away from home, return only when authorities say it is safe.

-To prepare for a possible earthquake recurrence, ready your supply kit: food (e.g. biscuits), water, clothing, first aid supplies, a mobile phone, a whistle, and a flashlight with extra batteries.

Stay vigilant, stay safe, and support one another during this challenging time.

Mula March 2024 hanggang March 2025, 88% ng mga PLHIV na naka-enroll sa antiretroviral therapy (ART) at sumailalim sa viral load test ay natukoy na virally suppressed. Patunay ito na ang tuloy-tuloy na ART para sa mga PLHIV ay nakatutulong para mas mabilis nilang maabot ang Undetectable = Untransmittable status.
