September 23 to 26, 2025 DepEd NCR composed of Division Offices of Mandaluyong, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas and San Juan together with DepEd Dinagat and DepEd Agusan Norte, Butuan City visit Division of Surigao del Norte for a benchmarking activity on the Management and Establishment SBFP Central Kitchen. These offices, aims to observe, document and assess operational mechanism, management system and collaborative framework to draw actionable insights and information for replication or scaling up a similar model in their region and divisions.
The participants visited central Kitchens of Mainit CES, Tubod CES, Placer West CES, Gigaquit CES, Claver CES. 5 out of 11 total central kitchen of DepEd Surigao del Norte. The central kitchen serves as a centralized food hub that prepares hotmeals to be serve to 3165 learners daily for 120 days.
