These are Poy’s cochlear implant processors – small devices with massive impact. For those of us in the hearing loss community, they’re more than just electronics. They’re lifelines. They connect us to voices, music, laughter, and the little sounds of everyday life we might otherwise miss.

Cochlear implants are precious, not just in their cost but in their value to our lives. They symbolize resilience, technology, hope, and inclusion. Every beep, word, and melody they help transmit is a victory.

We’re so grateful for this technology, and even more grateful for how it helps Poy thrive, connect, and experience the world fully. 💗

Activities:
✔️ Ongoing therapy to improve certain sounds
✔️ Attending Pre-K—excited for the big school next year!
✔️ Enrolled in Kumon

I can speak, but not that clearly yet due to my speech delay—but we’re working on it!

Embrace the moment, for it is a gift from God. Trust in His plan, cherish His blessings, and walk in faith. Every second is a reminder of His love and grace.

✨ Celebrating Poy’s 2nd Hearing Birthday! ✨

Today is a remarkable day for our family, especially for Poy! It marks the 2nd anniversary of his hearing—his Implant Day! Two years ago, his world was filled with new sounds, voices, and laughter, and since then, every moment has been a journey of growth, discovery, and joy.

We are beyond grateful for the gift of hearing, for the technology that made it possible, and for all the love and support along the way. Here’s to many more years of listening, learning, and celebrating life’s beautiful sounds!
