“Strong Presence of PRC - Kalinga Chapter Felt at Matagoan Drum and Lyre Competition”
Album 2 of 2
On June 19, during the Drum and Lyre Competition held as part of Tabuk City’s Matagoan Festival, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) – Kalinga Chapter was once again at the forefront of ensuring public safety and providing emergency medical services.
Just moments after the last competitor’s performance, patients swarmed and overwhelmed the Chapter’s first aid tent. Despite the sudden surge and limited space, the team handled the situation efficiently and calmly, thanks to their extensive training in emergency response. Cases managed included difficulty in breathing, fainting, hyperventilation, muscle cramps, epigastric pain, and headaches.
