I used to wonder if I was “too much.”
Too strict. Too focused. Too hard to please.

Then I watched again… and realized—I’m not the problem. I’m the standard.

Because what people call “intimidating”…
I call discipline.
What they call “lonely”…
I call clarity.
What they call “too much work”…
I call passion.

As a founder, a dermatologist, a mother, a wife, an employer—I live in the same space that mastered:

✨ Standards are not negotiable
✨ Excellence is the baseline—not the goal
✨ And not everyone is meant to stay in your circle

I’ve learned that you don’t build something meaningful by being soft all the time.
You build it by choosing when to be soft—and when to be exact.

Yes, I have fewer friends now.
But the ones I keep? Solid. Real. Chosen.

Yes, I don’t clap easily.
Because doing your job well isn’t extraordinary—it’s expected.

Yes, I demand a lot.
Because I demand the same from myself.

And yes… sometimes it gets lonely.
But it’s a peaceful kind of lonely—the kind that comes from knowing you’re aligned, focused, and not distracted by noise.

This is the part people don’t talk about:
The highs and lows of a woman in business aren’t chaos—they’re calibration.

Every decision, every standard, every boundary…
It’s protection. It’s intention. It’s growth.

So if you’ve ever been called “too much”…
Maybe you’re just not meant for average.

Maybe, like me, you were built for more.

You know, behind every award… people only see the title.

They see “Top Physician.”
They see the recognition.
But what they don’t see are the quiet days.

The doubts.
The pressure to always get it right.
The responsibility of holding someone’s confidence, their insecurities, their trust—in your hands.

I’m deeply grateful to be recognized at the 2026 Silk Awards as Top Physician for Art Fillers and Biostimulator.
And even if I wasn’t able to stand on stage at Shangri-La The Fort last April 27… this moment still found its way to me today.

And honestly… it hits differently.

Because this award is not just about being “the best.”
It’s about showing up—even on days when you’re tired.
Even when no one is clapping.
Even when you question yourself.

To my patients—thank you for trusting me not just with your faces, but with your stories.
To my team—thank you for standing beside me on both the easy days and the hard ones.

There were moments I wanted to slow down.
Moments I asked myself, “Is this still worth it?”

And today is my answer.

Yes… it is.
