Tiny bumps that won’t go away? Thought they’re pimples?

Wart or Clavus (Kalyo)? Know the Difference!

WART (Kulugo)
• Caused by a virus
• Can spread to other areas or people
• Often has tiny black dots inside
• May hurt when you squeeze from the sides

CLAVUS (Kalyo / Corn)
• Caused by pressure or friction (tight shoes, walking)
• Not contagious
• Hard, thick skin with a central core
• Hurts when you press directly on it

Why it matters:
Using the wrong treatment can make it worse—or delay healing.

Do NOT self-treat blindly.
Cutting or using strong acids without guidance can lead to infection or deeper wounds.
