PhilHealth Regional Office VIII, through the Public Affairs Unit, successfully hosted the 4th Quarter Meeting of the Association of Government Information Officers in Region 8 (AGIO-8) on December 4, 2025, at Hotel XYZ, Tacloban City.

As part of the program, PhilHealth Regional Office 8 conducted an orientation on the PhilHealth YAKAP, where participants received a comprehensive discussion on the latest PhilHealth benefits, policy updates, and initiatives aimed at strengthening access to quality healthcare.

The quarterly gathering also served as an important venue for government information officers to share agency updates, raise organizational concerns, and fortify inter-agency coordination in ensuring timely and accurate public information dissemination across Eastern Visayas.
